Our pigs are a humanely raised Berkshire cross, never in a crate, and supplemented with local non GMO grains. They are never fed or given any antibiotics or hormones.

Our goal is to regenerate the soil, not to purchase soil fertility. This is accomplished by planting various cover crops and diverse grasslands along with grazing management practices that build fertile soils. Returning the soils back to or better than before man arrived.

 

Most food today is produced with one thing in mind, cheap. This has led to a decline in taste and quality.

Our animals are grown a little slower and using a heritage breed we get back the qualities we have forgotten about. Our pork isn't the other white meat, it's a rose color with marbling, otherwise known as "intro muscular fat".
